Actually, I had planned to stop with "Vincent of the Month", but when images of such an unusual bike as a Firefly showed up, I couldn't help but select it as "Vincent of the Month" for July 2025. Perhaps the only one in Sweden?
It is Lars Hoffmann from Brålanda who has renstored it. He got it as a renovation project from a friend with the promise to restore and showcase it. The engine is mounted in a Crescent bicycle from 1954.
Firefly is a Vincent cyclemotor of 45 cc. It was manufactured from 1952 to 1955 under license from Miller, one of Vincent's suppliers.
Egentligen hade jag tänkt sluta med "Månadens Vincent", men när det nu dök upp bilder på en så udda hoj som en Firefly, kunde man ju inte låta bli att utse den till "Månadens Vincent" i juli 2025. Kanske den enda i Sverige?

The project with a clip-on engine was started by Miller, a supplier of electrical equipment to Vincent. The Miller Firefly was introduced in 1952, but it was Vincent who got to manufacture it under license. In 1953 it was sold as a separate engine, but in 1954 and 1955 complete bicycles could be delivered.
