Mats kontaktade MC-Mässan för att höra vad en monter skulle kosta, men betonade att vi var en liten klubb med en pytteliten budget. Det slutade med att vi fick en relält stor gratismonter i en passage mellan två hallar. De tyckte nog att våra hojar var så intressanta att de utnyttjade montern som lockbete i marknadsföringen.
Huskvarnaklubben hade en liknande monter på andra sidan mittgången. |

Mats contacted the MC Show to find out what a booth would cost, but emphasized that we were a small club with a very tiny budget. It ended up with us getting a fairly large free booth in a passage between two halls. They probably thought our bikes were so interesting that they used the booth as bait in their marketing.

Inflyttning på torsdag eftermiddag. Calle och Mats hade raggat ihop 15 Vincent och lite annat Vincent-relaterat. Vi blev många som kunde hjälpas åt, så monterbyggandet gick smidigt. Alla ställde upp utan någon kostnadsersättning. Det enda utställarna fick var den lilla oljeskyddsmattan vi tagit fram. |

Move-in on Thursday afternoon. Calle and Mats had gathered 15 Vincents and some other Vincent-related items. There were many of us who could help out, so the assembly went smoothly. Everyone contributed without any compensation. The only thing the exhibitors received was the small oil protection mat we had prepared. |

The Show was a huge success with 35,000 visitors. On Saturday, there was traffic chaos outside on the E4, and it could take an hour or so to get in, which was reported in, among other places, National TV news. |

Mässan blev en stor succë med 35.000 besökare. På lördagen blev det trafikkaos utanför på E4 och det kunde ta någon timme att komma in, vilket uppmärksammades i bl.a. tv-nyheterna. |

Ambitionen vi hade med mässdeltagandet var att visa att våra Vincent kan användas i modern trafik och också att det är så vi gör. De Vincent som vi ställde ut var alla i skick att klara långresor och inga var inneboende på något museum.
För att ytterligare åskådliggöra detta ville vi gärna ha med Börjes sönderblåsta flagga, men vi lyckades aldrig hitta den. |

The ambition we had with participating in the show was to show that our Vincents can be used in modern traffic and also that this is how we actually do it. The Vincents we exhibited were all in a condition to handle long trips, and none were permanent residents of any museum.
To further illustrate this, we would have liked to include Börje's blown-apart flag, but we never managed to find it. |
