Again a very nice and well organised meet! Organisers Börje and Anna Kollnert got everything to run smoothly. Even the weather was perfect!
The meet saw 54 participants, many of whom arrived on their Vincents. The site was Falkängen Conferens center and Craftsmens' village in Hällekis close to Lake Vänern.
The participants came from Sweden and Denmark and a remarkably large group from Germany showed up.
The trip to the meet probably went fine for all riders.

Chairman Johansson did, however, have a mishap with his Comet clutch and was forced to the side of the road at Falekvarna, east of Falköping.
The solution spelled biker Ture of Club Cheyenne, Jönköping, who stopped his Sportser 1200 to offer his help. He contacted the club Trollebo Choppers where helpful members set out with a car and trailer to assist. The bike was promptly transported to the den of Trollebo Choppers where Mats could give the transmission a check-up and retighten the ailing clutch center nut. The only difficulty really was in finding a 33 mm socket to do the job.
All the honour to such friendly, helpful people!
Mats' bike now sports a sticker: Trollebo Choppers Supporter.
Late Friday evening he safely arrived on his bike to a dormant Hällekis. He was still not the last one. After him rider Johan Ulff arrived.

The Annual Genereal Meeting was led by Chairman Johansson who was navigating through the issues cleverly mixing Swedish and German.
During the AGM several members were awarded, not only for distinctive Vincent deeds, but one member, Thomas Frahm, got his prize for riding all the way from Germany to Sweden, wearing cloggs!
The mandatory photo session took place at Läckö castle with the castle and the blue waters of Lake Vänern as background.

When time came for Saturday's dinner the participants could conveniently make the 50 metres walk to Carinas Kök och Bar. During the evening Mr Hygrell could vividly deliver the solution (in German and Swedish) to the gnawing question as to why he had had to spend ten days behind bars during his military service. Actually without even beginning his service!

Falkängen, situated at the base of the hill Kinnekulle, turned out to be a cosy and well suited location for meeting and chatting. And the most popular place to meet and talk was, as usual, the parking lot, where discussions and exchange of technical matters continued well into the fair summer night.
