The Scandinavian Vincent Rally in Kiruna / Jukkasjärvi, July 1985

With the meet in Kiruna / Jukkasjärvi, it was proven that the Vincent people are a tough race. Despite the fact that it was only 2 degrees + in Porjuus on the way there and rumors of snow in Kiruna, there were 49 participants. The weather then changed for the better.
The meeting should have been the most northerly Vincent rally in the world.

There is much more to read in the Club Magazine, but sorry, only in Swedish.
More to reade in Club Magazine
Kiruna is located far north. From where southern Sweden begins, it is 1893 kilometers (1183 miles) to drive to get to the meeting. Despite this, there were 14 Vincents who made the long trip, some of which were guests from the United States.
In addition to the long journey, you also got to experience that it was light around the clock as the meeting was north of the Arctic Circle.

It had been agreed with the local BP gas station to show the bikes there during Saturday's excursion.
For that, the participants even got paid.
