Invitation to Scandinavian Vincent Club Rally 2017 in Västervik 9-11th of June
The Meet will take place at Lysingsbadet, a camping ground on the sea front, not far from the city of Västervik.
All of us will be lodged with the Baltic sea more or less at our feet. We have reserved 15 log cabins in the area called Ösel 2..
Many log cabins have four beds. On the top floor, two beds are found (after negotiating a fairly steep ladder).
The second bedroom is on the bottom floor, also with two single beds.
There is a family room with sofa, table and TV. In the well equipped kitchenette we find a table with four chairs, refrigerator, stove, freezer, microwave and coffee machine, and sink.
The log cabin has shower and WC, and outside there is a porch with furniture.
Breakfast in the log cabins and linen (Bettwäsche) + towels (handtuch) are included in the fee.
There is now 60 visitors registered for the Meet (May 6).

| Also this year, Calle will arrange a common trip to the meet. Starting wednesday morning from Gothenburg. As usual, no fee. Everyone pays their own expenses. I strongly recommend to have a credit card Visa or another well-known card. Almost all payments are made via credit cards in Sweden, especially gasoline. The run will almost 100% occur on local roads. We try to avoid motorways. |

Händelöp. A genuine and idyllic little fishing village with red houses at the sea front and boat houses.
Hjorted Moped Museum. A small museum with many mopeds and a fantastic interior with typical objects for its time.
The birthplace of Oscar Hedström, the Swede who formed the base for much of Indian motorcycles' design until the mid 1920-ies. Which in essence means that Indian can count as yet another motorcycle with roots in Småland!

A good stone trow to the south of our accommodation you will find Korpaholmarna, an area with seven small islands all connected with bridges. Definitely a charming spot to visit with your wife or just for enjoying the archipelago nature by yourself or in a group of friends
On Saturday, we hop on our bikes and aim for MX World Collection, a Moto cross museum in Vimmerby.

- Taking off in direction Vimmerby by way of Blackstad
- Visit to MX Museum
- Meeting with the classic bike club Tjust MCHK
- Lunch at the home where children's book author Astrid

_Longstocking?)
- Going home by oneself or joining the rest for a visit to _Hjorted Moped museum
_A coffee break at lake Långsjön is another alternative.
- Annual General Meeting back at Lysingsbadet
- Dinner with speeches and prizes
- The traditional tyre kicking continues.
Sunday 11th
- Breakfast in the log cabins
- Tidying up the living quarters.
- Packing up and then setting out on the journey home.
